The Government of Guyana Supreme Court of Judicature in October 2022 entered into a contract with Maleya’s Home Furnishing to retrofit the old magistrate’s court at Wales to a magistrate’s quarter and library/research centre. The contract valued at $27.4 million was to be completed within 8 months as per the contract specifications. Sizwe Jackson Consultancy Service was hired to provide engineering services.
