Sizwe Jackson Consultancy Service is proud to provide engineering consultancy services for the iconic Palmyra Multipurpose Stadium, a transformative project launched by His Excellency, Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, in Region Six (East Berbice-Corentyne). With a seating capacity of approximately 10,000 spectators, this state-of-the-art facility is designed to ICC standards for cricket and will serve as a premier venue for sports, concerts, and major events.
Funded in part by ExxonMobil’s $3.7 billion contribution through its $20 billion ‘Greater Guyana Initiative,’ the stadium is a key element of the Government of Guyana’s commitment to advancing sports development in the region. The facility aims to nurture young athletes, attract international sporting events, and serve as a hub for talent development.
